TCS Toronto Waterfront Half Marathon
From downtown out along Lake Shore Boulevard and back to a finish on Bay Street.
About the race
The half marathon is part of the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon weekend in October and shares its start with the full marathon. The 2026 race started on Yonge Street, and every distance finishes on Bay Street just north of Queen Street, near Nathan Phillips Square. In between the course goes through the downtown core and out along the lakefront, including Lake Shore Boulevard.
The start has moved around over the years. In 2025 it came back to Yonge Street, the first start there in a decade, because of University Avenue construction. Earlier editions started at University Avenue and Armoury Street, and the finish has traditionally been at Old Toronto City Hall.
Our poster draws the route on a black map of Toronto, with Lake Ontario in navy and a white strip along the bottom for the title. The race date runs down the top left, and distances show in kilometres or miles. It comes in Blue, a blue route on the dark map. Each poster is designed by hand after you order, with the runner's name, bib number, finish time and pace added to the title block.
