Savannah Southern Half Marathon
A loop from Forsyth Park through the Historic District and the Bananas ballpark.
About the race
The Savannah Southern Half Marathon starts and finishes at Forsyth Park. The 2026 course is a new loop that takes runners through Savannah's historic neighborhoods and onto the field at Grayson Stadium, the home of the Savannah Bananas, before heading back to the park and a finish festival.
The race is run by Motiv Sports in mid-November, when the Georgia coast has cooled off, and the 2026 race is its second year. Organizers expected more than 6,000 runners, with registration up 120 percent on the first edition, and a walker-friendly 5K runs alongside the half. Runners can raise money for the American Cancer Society through Team DetermiNation.
The poster traces the 13.1 miles on a dark street map of Savannah, with the route in orange, a white dot at the start, and the race date running down the left edge. Forsyth Park, the Historic District, Daffin Park and Grayson Stadium are named along the bottom. It comes in one colorway, Orange & Black. It is designed by hand after you order, with the runner's name and finish time added, plus a bib number if you'd like one.
