About the race
The Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon starts at 22nd Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway, near the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The course runs through the Museum District, the older neighborhoods and Center City, crosses the Schuylkill River into University City, climbs through the trails of Fairmount Park and returns along the riverbanks to finish in front of the museum.
The half marathon joined Philadelphia Marathon Weekend in 2006, and it is run on a weekend in November. The course is USATF certified, and the start and finish both sit on the Parkway lined with flags.
The poster traces the route on a black street map of Philadelphia, with the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers in dark blue, the route in orange and the race date running down the right edge. It comes in one colorway, Orange & Black. It is designed by hand after you order, with the runner's name, bib number and finish time added at the bottom.
