TCS New York City Marathon
Staten Island to Central Park across five boroughs, on the 2026 course through the Bronx.
About the race
The TCS New York City Marathon starts at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island and crosses the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn, running up Fourth Avenue and along Bedford Avenue to the Pulaski Bridge and Long Island City in Queens. The Queensboro Bridge brings runners into Manhattan and up First Avenue to the Willis Avenue Bridge and the Bronx. The Madison Avenue Bridge leads back to Manhattan for Fifth Avenue and Central Park, with the finish near Tavern on the Green.
2026 marked 50 years of the five-borough course, first run in 1976, and brought the first course change in 15 years. In Mott Haven, between miles 20 and 21, runners now stay on Alexander Avenue to East 141st Street, then take Third Avenue and East 138th Street to the Madison Avenue Bridge, with fewer turns than before. First Avenue has a cheer corridor from mile 16 to mile 18.
The poster traces the 2026 course on a map of the city, from the start on Staten Island to the finish in Central Park, with the five boroughs named under the title. Choose Orange & Black, Multicolor or White & Red. Each poster is designed by hand after you order, with the runner's name and finish time set above the title, plus a bib number if you'd like one.
