A swim in Seneca Lake and a ride through the vineyards between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes.
About the race
The half-distance Musselman triathlon starts and finishes at Geneva Lakefront Park in Geneva, New York, in the Finger Lakes. Athletes swim 1.2 miles in Seneca Lake, ride 56 miles through vineyards and farmland between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes, then run 13.1 miles along the lakeshore and through town. The first half of the bike has gentle rolling hills, and there are plenty of flat stretches to push the pace.
The Musselman Triathlon began as a local Finger Lakes race and has been run under its present organizer since 2020, when it was acquired. It takes place in July, with the next edition listed for July 2027.
Our poster draws the whole course on a black map of the Finger Lakes, with Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake in navy on either side of the route and the swim start marked in Geneva. The race name and place and date run across the top, and the swim, bike, run and finish times line the bottom. Each poster is designed by hand after you order, with the athlete's four times added. There is no name or bib line on this layout.
