About the race
The half-distance triathlon at Jones Beach State Park on Long Island begins with a 1.2-mile swim in Zach's Bay, next to the Jones Beach Amphitheater. Athletes then ride 56 miles on the closed Wantagh State Parkway, which runs north from the barrier island toward the mainland and back, and finish with a 13.1-mile run along the boardwalk beside the Atlantic Ocean, ending on the beach.
The race first came to Jones Beach in September 2023, where the bike course on a closed parkway is known for being flat and fast. The first edition was shortened to a 750-meter swim because of rough conditions, and it drew about 3,800 registered athletes.
Our poster draws the single route as one line on a black map of southern Nassau County, with the bays and Atlantic coast in navy. The race date runs down the top left, and the finish time and name sit at the top right. Each poster is designed by hand after you order, with the athlete's name and finish time added.
