About the race

The Cowtown 10K starts and finishes at Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth's Cultural District. The 2026 course heads north on Gendy Street, west on West Lancaster Avenue and then north through the Monticello neighborhood. It loops around Rockwood Park on streets such as White Settlement Road, Crestwood Terrace and North University Drive before returning along Foch Street and West Lancaster to the Will Rogers grounds.

The Cowtown races are held in late February, with the 10K and 5K on Saturday. The weekend began in 1979, and the 2027 running will be the 49th. It also includes a marathon, a half marathon, an ultra and a kids 5K, all based at Will Rogers.

The poster traces the 10K as a red line on a light gray street map of the neighborhoods north of the Cultural District, with the Trinity River bend at the top, the race date at the top left and "Fort Worth, TX" under the title. Each poster is designed by hand after you order, with the runner's name, bib number and finish time added.
