About the race
The Cambridge Half Marathon starts and finishes at CambridgeSide in East Cambridge. The course runs west on Memorial Drive along the Charles River, past MIT and through Cambridgeport toward Harvard. It then heads out toward Watertown and back along both banks of the river, with the John W. Weeks Footbridge and Harvard Stadium in view, before the return to CambridgeSide.
It is a flat, USATF certified course, run in early November with a 5K the day before. The race also raises money for local and national charities: more than $1.7 million since 2017, including $609,000 shared among over 66 charity partners in 2025.
