About the race
The Belfast City Half Marathon starts and finishes on the Ormeau Embankment beside Ormeau Park. The route takes in all four areas of Belfast, north, south, east and west, using more of the city's greenways than earlier courses, and goes through Victoria Park and into the Titanic Quarter. Along the way are Belfast City Hall and the Albert Clock.
The event is billed as the largest half marathon in Northern Ireland and has sold out year after year. It runs in September, with a three-hour limit for finishers, and the race celebrated its tenth year in 2023. It is run alongside the Belfast City Marathon, which starts at Stormont.
